Plant Tours - IFC 2025

Congress participants holding a 2-day pass will have the unique opportunity to visit leading European forging companies in Germany West, Germany South, Italy, Poland/Czech Republic and Türkiye from October 8th to October 10th, 2025. The programme of the Plant Visit Tours will be organised by the national member associations of EUROFORGE. For details on the itinerary and the Plant Visit Tours please refer to the tour schedules under each plant tour.
 

• Accommodation for 2 nights 
• Group flights from Frankfurt to the Plant Visit Tour destination in Italy, Poland/Czech Republic and Türkiye 
• Tours Germany West & South: travel by bus from Frankfurt to Plant Visit Tour destinations
• Transfer from the conference venue in Frankfurt to the airport in Frankfurt 
• Meals as per itinerary

• Return flights
• Transfer to another departure airport than stated in the itinerary
• Beverages outside of the meals
• Additional overnight stay

• The number of participants for each tour is limited to 30 delegates.
• The minimum number of delegates will be 16.  If the minimum number is not reached, the tour will not take place.
• We ask for your understanding that not more than 5 delegates from the same country and 2 delegates from the same company/group are admitted for one specific tour. If you would like to register more participants under the just mentioned conditions, you are welcome to put them on a waiting list.
• Participants agree on reciprocal Plant Tour Visits to be accepted.
• Tours are open to congress delegates from outside the hosting country only. 
• Tours will be filled on a first-come basis. If the tour is fully booked, you can announce your interest through a waiting list.
• You must attend the congress holding a 2-day pass in order to attend plant tours.
• Please note that the list of delegates for each plant visit will be checked by the hosting EUROFORGE Member Association. Participation of each delegate in the individual Plant Visit Tours is subject to approval by the hosting association!
• No cameras, cell phones or recording devices of any kind will be permitted on the Plant Tours. Attendees are encouraged to leave these items in their hotel rooms or on the buses.
• Sturdy shoes are mandatory during all Plant Visit Tours. If you have safety shoes, you are welcome to wear them. The safety instructions within the visited companies must be followed.

• The Plant Visit Tours will end on Friday, 10 October 2025 afternoon
• You can book a return flight either on Friday evening or the next morning. The accommodation for the third night is not included in the fees.

• Please note that we recommend applying for a visa (if necessary) for the respective destination well in advance.
• For arrival into the Plant Visit Tour destinations, document requirements vary depending on your country of origin, citizenship, the reason for your visit, and the length of your stay, and may include a passport or a birth certificate, photo ID, and/or a visa.
